IrfanView - программа просмотра изображений на компьютере.
Данная программа открывает практически любые типы изображений. Есть дополнительный набор плагинов
для расширения функционала.
Данная программа бесплатна для школ,музеев, библиотек и домашних пользователей.
Пользователям организаций на сайте предложено зарегистрировать / задонатить 12$.
В программе есть дополнительный функционал для обрабатывания фотографий, в этом я слабо разбираюсь.
За объективной оценкой лучше обратиться к тем, кто занимается еще и обработкой фотографий.
Ключ для тихой установки Irfanview -

Присутствуют еще и дополнительные параметры для установки -
/folder="c:\irfanview" - путь до папки установки
/desktop=0 - Размещения ярлыка на рабочем столе
/thumbs=0 - Создания ярлыка для миниатюр
/group=1 - Создать папку в меню Пуск
/allusers=1 - Устанавливать для всех пользователей
/assoc=1 - Смена ассоциаций
Практически все параметры либо с 0 либо с 1
0 - Нет
1 - Да
Для параметра /assoc
Ассоциации для открытия файлов
0 - нет
1 - изображения
2 - все файлы
Рассмотрим тихую установку приложения если оно находится на сервере APPSOFT в папке Irfanview
start /wait \\APPSOFT\Irfanview\iview450_setup.exe /silent
Приложения устанавливается быстро и без ассоциаций для тестирования.
Сложилось впечатление что оно не установилось, однако я нашел его в папке Program Files в папке Irfanview
Можете для теста установить с параметром указания папки установки
start /wait \\APPSOFT\Irfanview\iview450_setup.exe /silent /folder="c:\irfanview"
И запустить программу с папки c:\Irfanview

/thumbs=0 - Create a shortcut for miniatures
/group=1 - Create a folder in the start menu
/allusers=1 - Install for all users
/assoc=1 - Change associations
Almost all parameters are either 0 or 1
0 - No
1 - Yes
For /assoc
Associations for opening files
0 - no
1 - image
2 - all files
Consider a quiet installation of the application if it is on the server APPSOFT in a folder Irfanview
start /wait \\APPSOFT\Irfanview\iview450_setup.exe /silent
The application installs quickly without the associations for testing.
The impression that it isn't installed, but I found it in the Program Files folder in a folder Irfanview
Unable to test install with the option to specify installation folder
start /wait \\APPSOFT\Irfanview\iview450_setup.exe /silent /folder="c:\irfanview"
And run the program from the folder c:\Irfanview
